Our Company

Micro Bio Process is born to help the growth of biotech companies, contributing more than 30 years of experience in the interface between biology and bioprocess engineering.

Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Improvement of organisms for the production of:
    • Antibiotics like penicillin G, Cephalosporin C, Tylosin, Clavulanic acid.
    • Enzymes like penicillin acylase, D-amino acid oxidase.
  • Industrial scale-up of new penicillin and cephalosporin producing strains for the production of 6-amino penicillanic and 7-amino cefalosporanic acids, respectivelly.
  • Reviewfor sterile process requirements of the engineeringof a cephalosporin producing plant, with 6 fermenters of 125 m3.
  • Start-up supervision of a cephalosporin production plant and optimization of the production to reach design yields.

Food Industry

  • Production of lactic acid bacteria for the formulation of probiotics.
